December fun!

We started off the month of December by attending the baby blessing of my new niece Millie.  It is always a pleasure to attend these special events.  

Here is a closeup of baby Millie.  My kids were so excited to hold her.

 My girls decorated Emily's bedroom with snowflakes as a surprise and this is how it turned out.  I am always happy to see my girls being kind to one another.

 Megan and Melissa loved their new Christmas sleepers and stuffed animals.

 Nathan was excited to get lots of new Lego sets.

 A few days after Christmas we went to my parents cabin for some fun in the snow.

 Emily was a pro at going down the steep hill.  I went down the hill twice and that was enough excitement for me.  The hill is a lot longer and steeper than it looks in this photo.

This picture is taken from inside the cabin.  There were big snow piles outside the cabin windows because of the snow that fell off the cabin's metal roof.  These three kids are so cute and fun.

 We welcomed in the new year by decorating our street.

 Today I am thankful that
*Holly wasn't hurt when someone hit into her car in the high school parking lot.
*Scott works so hard to support our family.
*I got to spend 2 stress free weeks with my family over winter break.  Now we are back to early mornings, homework, and tests.
